They’ll also be able to view the fully remade Act I and II cinematics.īlizzard has said that progression from early access beta will carry over to the open beta. Participants will get to experience early gameplay from Acts I and II, which will be fully playable. While the final release will feature seven playable classes, only five will be unlocked for the beta: Amazon, Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, and Paladin (Assassin and Necromancer not included). PlayStation players will not require a PS Plus subscription for multiplayer features during the test. There are some things I don't like, but generally I feel like Blizzard did a good job, but maybe dropped the ball when it comes to the length of the act I of the main story and having some rando demon be the end boss for the act.Following the early access phase, there will be an open beta for all platforms starting on August 20th at 10 am PT. ![]() Overall I am very satisfied with the beta and hyped for the game. Also, the endboss is just some random demon and I didn't even know I was fighting an end of act boss, which is super weird. Sure, there is a lot of stuff to do (dungeons, exploration, strongholds, side quests), but still. It feel like it's as long as getting to Leoric in D3, but then the game announces it's end of an act afterwards. I didn't even do it all at once, I did some dungeons and side quests in between main story quest, but still it feels like it's just very short, especially compared to D3. I am going to be honest: I feel like we just got the shortest main story act in any Diablo game. Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread
